This
one was another Buffalo premiere of a major work at the
Phoenix.
A writer is interrogated in an unnamed police state. Director
Bob Waterhouse first asked me for an image of an apple with a razor blade
and then asked for a meat cleaver. Interestingly enough, I did a Google
Image Search after I finished the poster and saw that about 1/3 of
the posters of various productions of The Pillowman
had an
apple with a razor blade as part of its design.
